4th to 6th September 2026 saw Merlin Winnie Rabbit and Roo join other members of Barnsley District and over 3000 other leaders from around the world at the 100th Reunion of the 1st Gilwell Scout Troop which each adult member who completes their training becomes part of. It was a chance to network and take part in a variety of activities and share information from all over scouting. Highlights included the Saturday evening campfire. The leaders also ensured that Bagheera Lesley Metcalfe who we recently very sadly lost attended the event she was due to in spirit if not in body with t-shirts worn on the Saturday bearing her photo.
