On the evening of the 8th of June as a nice tie in to VE Day 80 our Typhoon Air Scout Section and Harrier Cub Pack came together to listen to and ask questions of ex RAF Tornado Pilot with 2000+hrs on type Dave Tanner. Dave also flew the vampire and vulcan including XH558 operationally and was also a test pilot. Dave said it was a joy to talk with the young people and loved how smart and behaved they were, the questions they asked and how they responded to the quiet signal. We thanked Dave very much for his time with us. An interesting evening was had by all
