The 6th of january saw Merlin joined the Mayor of Barnsley and members of our affiliated Royal British Legion Branch Churchfield Royal British Legion Branch for the annual Cresswell Street Bomber Crash Memorial service near the hospital. It was a honour to remember the crew of the Whitley Bomber including the two that sadly died by staying at the controls and manoeuvring the aircraft away from the residential area and into the quarry saving countless lives.
