5th March 2026 Group Lead Volunteer Gavin Doxey aka Merlin attended the Typhoon Air Scout Section to present a Merlin Special Commendation Certificate and Gift to Air Scout Zac Bullen. The certificate was presented to recognise Zac’s actions on a group camp where he performed first aid on an injured fellow young scouter including stopping bleeding cleaning and dressing a wound and explaining to the casualty what he was doing throughout.
